The integrated Behavioural Emergency Assessment and Response Model
the iBEAR model was developed by practitioners, for practitioners, to meet the real-world demands of managing behavioural emergencies. Rooted in solid scientific evidence yet designed for practical use, it offers an easy-to-apply framework that helps responders act with clarity and confidence in any encounter.
The iBEAR model is a theory-driven framework that equips first responders with proven intervention strategies for both behavioural crises and maladaptive behaviours below the crisis threshold, easily accessible, especially under stress.
While its components are rooted in solid scientific evidence, the model as a whole has yet to undergo evaluation.
